The 2017 - 2018 ice skaing season begins on Wednesday, November 22, 2017 and continues through February 11, 2018, weather and ice conditions permitting.

The Downtown Reno Ice Rink is located at Greater Nevada Field (home of the Reno Aces and Reno 1868 FC) at 250 Evans Avenue. Free parking is available across the street. For information on ice skating lessons, call (775) 332-3239. For information on group outings, ice rink birthday parties or field trips, call at (775) 334-7011.

Reno Ice Skating Rink Admission Prices

Admission prices are per session and include $4 skate rental. Deduct $4 if you do not need to rent skates. Seal ice skating toys are $10 each.

  • $12 for teens and adults, ages 13 to 54
  • $10 for children, ages 3 to 12
  • $10 for seniors, age 55 and up

10-Visit Punch Pass includes skate rental.

  • $75 for teens and adults, ages 13 to 54 ($65 w/o skate rental)
  • $65 for children, ages 3 to 12 ($45 w/o skate rental)
  • $65 for seniors, age 55 and up ($45 w/o skate rental)

Reno Ice Skating Rink Hours of Operation

Refer to "Reno Ice Skating Rink Schedule" for a calendar view of the 2017 - 2018 skating schedule.

Monday through Friday Sessions (Non-holiday Wednesdays will not have a 7:10 p.m. to 10 p.m. session)

  • 10 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
  • 3:30 p.m. to 6:50 p.m.
  • 7:10 p.m. to 10 p.m.

Saturday and Holiday Sessions (Holiday dates include November 23 - 24 and December 22 through January 15)

  • 10 a.m. to 12:15 p.m.
  • 12:30 p.m. to 2:45 p.m.
  • 3 p.m. to 5:15 p.m.
  • 5:30 p.m. to 7:45 p.m.
  • 8 p.m. to 10 p.m.

Sunday Sessions

  • 10 a.m. to 12:15 p.m.
  • 12:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.
  • 3:45 p.m. to 7 p.m.

Broomball at the Reno Ice Rink

The sport of broomball will be played at the Reno Ice Rink for the first time this skating season. Twelve teams will compete for sweeping glory from November to January. Round-robin games will be played on Wednesdays between 8:30 p.m. and10:30 p.m. For more information on how to sign up, contact Andre Moyce at (775) 334-7033.
