"Chemistry of the Cocktail" at The Discovery - Friday, November 4, 2022, 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. Get ready to mix up some fun at Chemistry of the Cocktail — The Discovery's premier annual fundraising event. Tour uncharted jungle scenery and view rare and unfamiliar animal species, as you sample jungle-inspired cocktails, enjoy a delicious menu created by the experts at Blend, and take part in hands-on mixology experiments, all while providing much-needed financial support for The Discovery. Warren Miller's "Daymaker" - Saturday, November 5, 2022, 7 p.m. High Fives Foundation brings you back into The Reno Ballroom (401 N. Center St.) for Warren Miller's latest feature film. Free Fall Photo Hikes - Saturday, November 5, 2022, 2 p.m. Join Washoe County park rangers to explore some of the Reno area's most scenic hiking trails. This hike is on the colorful Upper Thomas Creek Trail in south Reno.

Bruka's BIGGEST little Theatre & New Works Festival 2021 - Thursday through Sunday, November 10 - 13, 2022. The 12th annual BIGGEST little Theatre & New Works Festival at Brüka Theatre features a variety of local playwrights and theatre artists performing and reading a diversity of work over a four day period. Reno Veterans Day Parade - Friday, November 11, 2022, starting at 11:11 a.m. The Reno Veterans Day Parade marches along Virginia Street through downtown Reno. Come enjoy this rousing parade and support our veterans that have served us over the years.

"North Woods Nonsense" from Reno Little Theater - November 11, 12, 18, 19, 2022 at 7 p.m. and November 13, 20, 2022 at 2 p.m. The play centers around a run-down hotel at Moose Bottom Lake in northern Maine. Handyman Pete has written a completely fictional article for the tacky tabloid "The National Divulger" about Bigfoot kidnapping a local resident. Imagine the zany fun that converges at the hotel. Wolf Pack Football - Saturday, November 12, 2022. The Nevada Wolf Pack football team takes on the Boise State Broncos in a home game at Mackay Stadium. Kickoff 7:30 p.m. Go Pack!

Hands ON! Second Saturdays - Saturday, November 12, 2022. Come to the Nevada Museum of Art for a day of fun family activities and free admission for all. Participate in hands-on art projects, storytelling, live music, tours and more. The theme this month is "Play with Pigment." Hours are 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Holiday Family Arts Festival at Arts for All Nevada - Saturday, November 12, 2022, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Arts for All Nevada is presenting this free event with art stations for kids, ornament making, a free book for each child, visits with Santa, and more. "Mrs. Mackay and the Bonanza King: A Chautauqua Presentation" from Historic Reno Preservation Society - Sunday, November 13, 2022, 12 noon. Louise Mackay spoke four languages and became known for her quick wit, generosity and charm, and was a hostess of international fame in Paris and London. Presented by Veronica Fraser. At the Downtown Reno Library, 301 S. Center Street.

Vintage Fake News - Nevada Historical Society presents High Noon with Neal Cobb Fall Series - Thursday, November 17, 2022, 1 p.m. This is an online event. In the early days of Virginia City, newspaper columns offered both real news and tall tales. It was often hard to tell the difference. Mark Twain and Dan DeQuille were the authors of a lot of that fake news. Presenter Frank X. Mullen is a Reno-based journalist, author, adjunct professor, and historian.

Wolf Pack Football - Saturday, November 19, 2022. The Nevada Wolf Pack football team takes on the Fresno State Bulldogs at Mackay Stadium in Reno. Kickoff is at 7:30 p.m. Go Pack!

Sky Tavern Ski Swap - Friday and Saturday, November 18 - 19, 2022. The swap will be at the former Sports Authority store, 4813 Kietzke Lane in Reno. New and used winter gear will be for sale at great prices - skis, boards, boots and clothes. Individual sellers can bring in gear to sell. The swap will be open to the public from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Friday and 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday. All sales benefit community efforts to get kids outside and on the slopes.

Tipsy Turkey Wine Walk - Saturday, November 19, 2022. The Riverwalk Merchants present this fun event every third Saturday of the month. In November, it's themed for Thanksgiving and costumes are encouraged. Visit any of the start locations with $30 and receive your wine glass and hand stamp (with photo ID), then make the rounds sampling wines at numerous businesses in the area from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. This is a 21+ event. Wild & Scenic Film Festival - Saturday, November 19, 2022, 4:30 p.m. to 10 p.m. We will have Burning Man tickets and adventure sports gear to raffle as well as food trucks and libations. "Spirit of the Season" from the Reno Philharmonic - December 2 - 4, 2022. Gather the family for a true holiday tradition. The Reno Phil, Reno Phil Chorus and conductor Jason Altieri invite you to the 2022 Spirit of the Season, a classic holiday celebration full of orchestral arrangements, jazzy numbers, traditional holiday tunes and carols. At the Pioneer Center for the Performing Arts. Choose from four showtimes and purchase tickets online.
