This event is canceled. There's just no way to pull it off with COVID-19 restrictions on big gatherings and crowd size.

Canceled - New Year's Eve Free Safe Ride from RTC

For the first time in 36 years, the Regional Transportation Commission (RTC) of Washoe County is canceling its annual New Year's Eve free Safe RIDE service to encourage people to stay home to celebrate. Even though free service will be canceled, transit will run on a normal schedule on New Year's Eve for essential trips.

New Year's Eve Celebration at the Bonanza

Thursday, December 31, 2020, 3 p.m. to 1 a.m. Ring in the New Year at Bonanza Casino with free play drawings, prize drawings, complimentary desserts for Officers in the Fort Reno Cavalry, and a casino-wide champagne toast and party favors at midnight.
